Formless

drewzilla This is such a great album, its lyricism, mysticism and enchantment had me from the opening track. Its style leans into my love for psych folk - the track ‘Katie Cruel’ is a fantastic rendition of a classic folk track - but it’s Ora that has one of those rare vocals that just takes you on a journey by head and by heart. My vinyl has been playing on repeat and was kindly signed by Ora. Very happy to have this, so much so I had to get me a copy of the European tour B&W vinyl - be rude not too :) Favorite track: Cowgirl.

Maxxabstract - (Prolific Indifference) I love this not too long. perfect length and packs a punch the whole way through, just pure flames. Also whoever's inclination it was on the last thing you say there, "someone come and get me now" it comes in much earlier than typical would, and you were on like two whole higher an octave, when the way it just comes cascading down early.in this descent. Was imo, the type of hallmark of situational embodiment of character that leaves every jaw dropped in its wake. Wether they think they k or not Favorite track: Cowgirl.

High Noon 04:09
High Noon High noon, Come on, say it Why can’t everybody just get along I was once yours but now I’m all gone See how the light’s treating the shadow Flames so high you can’t see without ‘em I was once yours but the fog is coming on strong Oh we’re in but in brave new way With your rules And your prisms Someday you’ll get What your giving But at a different pace The world is lost, isn’t it love Sunrise Hands shaking Its your move It’s heartbreaking Ain’t nothing right You guard the dogs That guard the gates to hell Ain’t nothing right Oh but in a brave new way Your rules Your prisms Someday you’ll get what your giving But in a different way The world is lost, isn’t it love
2.
Holy Hells 03:47
Holy Hells I went looking for the devil In a golden suit on a Saturday night Used to travel with a knife in my boot And under my head Guess I’ll do whatever I do to feel free And If you’re gonna get me down honey do it right Holy hells flying around you Psychedelic interventions Call the number on the wall girl hope you get the right extension Oh I get it You decide, dictate and police Whatever you do don’t pray for me Well it's not your right Would that I was where I am not But I do see right my love Your world poison path molasses, My love, angry as the sun
3.
Feel Life 03:51
Sunrise Hands shaking Perfect poison for the pain Slow death to awaken From the clouds of indecision Red velvet baby blue I woke up next to you With a record skipping in my head Well everything shatters, trying so hard not feel love But I can see you leaning on the wall In the back just looking through me Clouds lift and the moment is gone I want you to feel life I want love I was the last thing you want And you know dear that I love you I was the last thing…
4.
Cowgirl 02:49
Cowgirl I wanted to be there Everyones said From across the river You can hear it now There was blood in the corner of your mouth Stars were falling All the dogs were howling Streetlights were glowing I went out on the roof I felt so dizzy and I saw the wasteland moving towards me Someone come get me now
5.
Katie Cruel 03:36
Katie Cruel – Lyrics When I first came to town They call me the roving jewel Now they changed their tune They call me Katie Cruel If I was where I would be Then I'd be where I am not Here I am where I must be Where I would be, I cannot Oh when I first came to town Well they brought me the bottles plenty Now they've changed their tune They bring me the bottles empty Through the hills travel Through the boggy mire Straight away down that road To my heart's desire When I first came to town Oh they called me the roving jewel Now they’ve changed their tune They call me Katie Cruel
6.
Ways of Losing - Lyrics Be free in your mind There are ways of losing that feel so fine No rules to bind you See how she flies? Nobody there but the sky And the light Just go Live your life You don’t have to come down anymore Love will protect you I will learn to live without you
7.
Dyed 03:52
Dyed - Lyrics I woke up by the field With a bee hitting the glass You rolled your sequined eyes at me As you pulled up your pants Find me a river That doesn’t know her name I will sing into the trees Til they take up all my pain I am a fool in love and I’ve got nothing to prove The spire’s shadow is on us I can feel it whenever you move Like pressure at the edge of a river’s blade No gods No will No waves No wind To carry us back to shore Well I’m tethered to your boot You have your lantern raised Swinging taciturn ways you learned To weave into my braids Thigh high in the night Running down the aisle Well I’d sell my soul to the devil you know Just to see you smile Whatever love is or is not I don’t care anymore for I have loved you like an island forever is losing its shore I cannot Be here any more With No gods No will No waves No wind To carry us back to shore
8.
Drifting 03:21
Drifting I walked in with your hand on my neck And all of the crows In the valley below start flying Death came to our house Walked right through the door While no one alive was listening You looked dead in the eyes But did not hear a word that I was saying All the while you go flying A thousand suns catch the light and go Sailing over Oh forgive us Though we know what we have done When every thread of life has caught the wind And is now drifting And you’ve seen the eye of god And lived through the barrel of a gun Oh a thousand suns catch the light And go sailing over us
9.
Is Anything Wrong - by Lhasa De Sela I used to say I'm ready show me the way Then another year or two Would pass me by Is anything wrong? Oh, love, is anything right? And how will we know Will time make us wise? People outside They know just what to do They look at me And they think that I know too Is anything wrong? Oh, love, is anything right? And how will we know Will time make us wise? I've found a home Now will life begin I can wait another year or two But not one moment more Is anything wrong? Oh, love, is anything right? And how will we know Will time make us wise?
